Synopsis Shailene Woodley, a young actress everyone talks about thanks to her roles in Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars, stars in the new film by independent filmmaker Gregg Araki. In the movie Woodley gives life to Kate, a seventeen year old girl who has a complex relationship with his mother, played by the magnetic Eva Green. One day she disappears and never comes back, and Kate takes that in stride. Years later, coming back home from college, Kate will find out if she has really accepted the idea that her mother left her. A rough tale about the life of American middle class and a teenager’s search for her identity. White Bird in a Blizzard also stars Angela Bassett, Christopher Meloni and Gabourey Sidibe, among others.
