Synopsis David's life has not been easy: he has lost his mother and his father will marry his mother’s former nurse. But the day before the wedding, something will change everything: he takes a picture of a Labrador duck, an extinct species. For a member of the Young Ornithologists Society Institute that is the discovery of the century. David, along with his colleagues and a stowaway, sets in pursuit of the last Labrador Duck in the stolen car of his best friend’s big brother. But there are some quibbles: a veteran ornithologist is hot on their heels, there might be hidden drugs in the car... And David carries his father’s wedding rings in his pocket. It’s going to be quite an adventure. Rob Meyer debuts in feature films with this intelligent and sensitive youth comedy starring such veteran actors as James Le Gros and Ben Kingsley.
