Synopsis

The Wild Hearts are a Danish biker gang, whose characteristic insignia is a heart branded on the skin of its members. Their premise is to push the party to its limits. They set out on a Quixote-like voyage from Denmark to Pomerania (Poland), emulating the feats of a distant Nordic king, to give a totally unrehearsed concert. In spite of their wild parties and the brutality of their exploits, the deep-rooted friendship between the members of the Wild Hearts makes them an unexpectedly moving community, capable of the noblest sentiments.

Director bio

Michael Noer was born in 1978 and graduated from the Denmark Nacional Film School in 2003. His end-of-course project film was En Rem Af Huden, a portrait of Ole Ege, pioneer in the World of Danish pornography. He has directed the documentaries The Earth Beneath My Feet and Vesterbro, and the internet project, Doxwise. For this project he gave video cameras to four young people and asked them to record their lives over a period of ten weeks. From this material he edited ten four-part episodes which were broadcast on You Tube. The Wild Hearts is his latest work.
