chelo loureiroCHELO LOUREIRO: Born in Ferrol, Loureiro has specialized in management of companies related to cultural industries, and she works exclusively in the audiovisual sector. She is vice president of DIBOOS (Federation of Animation Producing Companies Associations) in charge of Cinema, representative in Galicia of CIMA (Asociación de Mujeres Cineastas) and member of Academia de la Artes y de las Ciencias Cinematográficas in Spain. She is present in animation international markets such as Cartoon Movie, Cartoon Forum, MIPCOM, MIPTV, MIFA, and in the most important Festivals, like Clermont-Ferrand, Annecy, Animadrid, Angouleme, Sitges, Animamundi, Future Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, Cannes and Stuttgart. She has been the executive producer for TV series, short films, documentaries and long features with different animation techniques that have won numerous awards and toured different international festivals.

Born in Alcoy in 1967. In 2001 he creates his own studio, Potens Plastianimation and he makes a living as a play dough mercenary and investigates on such animated mutations as Chokopulpitos (2008) and La maldición de los hombres triángulo (2007) opening a new dimension for play dough and real life actors, as unleashed in Molecular Zombi (2012). Two Goyas, one in 1996 Caracol, col, col and another in 2005 for El enigma del chico croqueta decorate his shelves. in 2006 Animadrid Festival pays him homage with a retrospective of all his works, an exhibit of his dolls and sets and a book written by Borja Crespo.

raul garciaRAÚL GARCÍA
was born in Madrid and started his career in animation at 19. He has worked as an animator in such international films as Asterix vs Caesar, Alvin and the Chipmunks and The Land Before Time. Who framed Roger Rabbit? opened for him the doors of Walt Disney Studios where he has worked as an animator in such modern classics as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules and Pocahontas.
After Fantasía 2000 Raúl worked as sequence director for Paramount. In 2002 he joined Kandor Graphics as creative director, with the award winning short feature The Tell Tale Heart, and shortly after as co-screenwriter and director with his partner Manuel Sicilia in the film The Missing Lynx. As part of Kandor Moon, a joint enterprise created with Antonio Banderas’ production company, he produced a short feature called The Lady and the Reaper that was nominated to the Oscars. Raúl García is member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences in Hollywood, the Academia de las Artes y Ciencias cinematográficas in Spain, The American Cartoonist Society , The Writers Guild of America and ASIFA Hollywood. He has published two books on animation techniques and teaches animation all over the world.

Winner of the Cartoon D’Or award, one of the most important in the world of animation, this Portuguese director and producer combines twenty years of brilliant career with a fresh and innovative style still opening new paths to the next generations. His brave glance took him to co-produce De Profundis, by the Spanish Miguelanxo Prado, one of the most interesting and esteemed films in international animation in the last few years.
