Mano de obra, The Wild Goose Lake and Le Milieu de l'horizon, are the new titles in the Crossroads 2019 season, in addition to Las letras de Jordi announced before.

A fifth title is yet to be unveiled for this second edition of the collaboration between the Gijón International Film Festival and the San Sebastián International Film Festival, which seeks to build bridges and increase the visibility of a selection of filmworks.

The Gijón International Film Festival and the San Sebastián International Film Festival announced a few days ago the continuation of their collaboration that, for the second consecutive year, launches the Crossroads film season, with the intention of increasing the visibility of films that are key to understanding the new forms of contemporary cinema and their link with today's society.

Crossroads will feature a programme of five outstanding titles of this year 2019, selected by the Donostia-San Sebastian festival. The selection of Las letras de Jordi, first feature by Maider Fernández, had already been unveiled from this programme.

Yesterday, Alejandro Díaz, director of Gijón International Film Festival and his counterpart in San Sebastián, José Luis Rebordinos, unveiled three more titles from this cycle. Diao Yinan's The Wild Goose Lake "with an impressive visual packaging", David Zonana's Mano de obra "with a lot of strength at a narrative level" and Delphine Lehericey's Le Milieu de l'horizon "with great interpretations".

There is still a fifth title to be unveiled and it will be chosen among the strongest films during this edition of the Zinemaldia.
