Synopsis

Young at Heart is the name of a choir founded in 1982 in Northampton (United States) whose members’ average age is eighty-one. Since then, they have performed all over the country as well as periodically visiting Europe and Australia, always meeting with very warm receptions. This film captures the rehearsals for a performance in their hometown, and the set – unexpected, totally free from preconceptions – is not to be missed: The Ramones’ “I Wanna Be Sedated”; Sonic Youth’s “Schizophrenia”; Coldplay’s “Fix You”; The Clash’s “Should I Stay or Should I Go”; James Brown’s “I Feel Good”; and The Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive” all acquire a special meaning in the voices of people who simply refuse to get old sitting in front of the television
