Jacob van Oppen was a famous wrestling star, and though his glory days are long past, he is reluctant to leave the business. Along with his manager Orsini, who has adopted the nickname “The Prince”, Jacob undertakes a pleasant tour of villages in South America. The charming manager offers a fictitious economic reward for anyone who manages to beat his champion and then proceeds to stage unbelievable fights. Until one day they arrive in Santa Maria, where a woman called Adriana uses all her wiles to try to convince Jacob to fight a terrible opponent.
