Synopsis Jack is staying at the 403 room at Hotel Chevalier in Paris. In a couple of months he will set off with his brothers to travel around India on the Darjeeling Limited. Today he has a visitor, an old flame he will be quite content to simply hug and kiss.
Director bio Born in 1969 and raised in Houston, filmmaker Wes Anderson studied Philosophy at the University of Texas, where he met Owen Wilson, with whom he co-wrote his first short film, Bottle Rocket, which attracted the notice of producer James L. Brooks. With his help they were able to get their short film into Sundance and secure funding for its  feature-length version.  In 1998 he got an Independent Spirit Award for Best Director with Rushmore and in 2002 his film The Royal Tenenbaums got an Oscar nomination for Best Screenplay. In 2004, Anderson co-wrote and directed The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) which was selected by Berlin Film Festival.
