Synopsis
It is the 10th century aD. Harald, a slave known as “One Eye”, with superhuman strength and deprived with speech, escapes from his Scottish owners with the help of a ten-year-old boy called Are. Upon gaining his freedom he joins a band of Vikings with whom he embarks on a sea voyage full of accidents. Following a terrible storm, the ship roams for forty days until swallowed by a dense fog which only dissipates when they get on dry land. They soon find themselves in a fresh-water river. They are unexpectedly attacked by unknown enemies who kill the members of the expedition one by one. When Are is captured, Harald has to face up to the situation while trying to complete the search for his own identity.
