Synopsis Ingrid Caven was the muse and actress of Fassbinder's films (she was also married to him for two years) and she has been working since the 70s with a successful trajectory as a singer. Her on stage style is a mix between Edith Piaf and Marlene Dietritch, and it has conquered the most varied publics. Bertrand Bonello records one of her concerts where she sings a repertoire of carefully selected pieces which includes works by Kurt Weill, the Beatles, Erik Satie or Schönberg, and texts written by herself, by Fassbinder, Hans Magnus Enzensberger and Jean-Jacques Schuhl (her husband, Goncourt prize in 2000 for a novel whose main character is a fictitious Caven). An overwhelming personality and a stage animal that joins glamour, avant-garde and cabaret in her performances.
