Synopsis On 10th December 2006, Ivan Osnovikoff and Bettina Perut went out on the streets with their cameras. Pinochet had just died, and the news was spreading like wildfire throughout Santiago. And it wasted no time in becoming an outburst of collective madness, since the death of Pinochet, the ex-dictator remembered for the rampant human rights violations that occurred during his regime, and main character in publicised trials already in his old age, opens old wounds not altogether cured, and offers an opportunity for catharsis. A man who, as shall be seen, was an assassin and infamous oppressor for some, but a charismatic leader and national hero who salvaged Chile from falling into the grips of communism for others. Capturing the tension on the streets, the producers present a perspective of the magnitude of the event, to then focus on the lives, a posteriori, of some of the main characters of that day. A work between tragedy and comedy, a surprising portrait of Chilean society.
